These are the first knee length boots I have bought in 30 years! I love them. True size 8 & calf width, although I recommend you measure both calves as one boot is tighter than the other.

These are the best boots. Comfortable, fit perfectly and the elastic is really not that noticeable. The suede is great and once waterproofed you can wear them everywhere. I am a size 8 in shoes snd 18 in dress and these are a good fit and heel height.

Love the boots - still are a little tight in the calf - and definitely needs to have a photo of the elastic bit, it's not that noticeable but I would have liked to have seen a photo of it first...

They are very nice boots, but sad to say I could not get the zip even half way up my calf, so I was very disappointed, especially given the ad stated for calves up to 47 cm, and mine measures 43 at it's widest point. They are on their way back :(

While these fit great and I could zip them all the way up (yay), I didn't like the stretchy panel on the inside part of the boot. I know it states in the product summary that there is an 'insert' for 'ease of wear', but I think it is a bit misleading to not show it in the photo as it stands out quite a bit. It is like the stretchy insert screams "I have really big calfs and hence need this stretchy insert to make these boots fit!".

They looked lovely and I was so excited but very soon disappointed with the fit. The foot was so very tight. it was painful . I am a normal size 8, Then I could not get the zip all the way up. I tried on a pair at Betts and Betts and they fit beautifully in the foot, so comfortable, but I could only get the zip up as far as these Sara boots. This makes be beleive the sara boots are not designed for bigger girls at all. Sending them back, but dont know where to go now for new boots :-(

I read the reviews, I checked the size guide. I figured as I am a size 8 to 8.5, I would err on the side of caution & get a 9. Well, these were very tight. AND to my utter disappointment, did not zip more than 2/3 of the way up. According to the write up, these should absolutely have fit. I have sent them back & awaiting my refund. Very disappointing. Measure your calves carefully. If they are the same size as their minimum measurement on the guide, don't waste your money & time ordering them.
