Sara Riding Boots

At $79, these boots are an absolute steel. I take a size 7 and i'm about 40cm around my calves so they fit me perfectly with just enough room if I wan't to wear them over leggings or jeans. I agree with others reviews on this one though. You wouldn't want to be much bigger than this around the calves. Definately a smaller make. I'm thrilled with mine though and have already received many compliments on them. Mine are the black, so would love a pair in the brown to.

Super comfy and they fit over my chunky calves. I class these as 12 hour shoes (meaning I can easily wear them for 12 hours or more at a time without getting sore feet.)These have become an Autumn/ Winter staple of my wardrobe. I team them with leggings and wear them a lot. I have noticed a little bit of detail stitching down near the buckle about 5mm long starting to unravel. Apart from that I expect them to last this season and next year too. These are a good buy

I bought these boots after reading all the reviews. For $79 an exellent buy. I am pleased with them.

I agree with other comments. They are loose around the ankle so will need socks. Fit my larger calves and it is great to have boots almost up to my knees. They look great but will also put black polish on the lighter soles/heels which will make them look even better. Not a lot between sole and ground so have to take everyone's word that hey will be comfy. Excellent buy at $79 though.

I was very excited to receive these boots and happily found that they fit around my calves! However, my calves are 42cm, and you couldn't be more than about that if you were buying the size 7. They are slightly big around the ankle, but I think that's just the style. It's a pity they don't come in size 6 though - just because I have big calves, doesn't mean that I have big feet, and 6 is a regular size! Overall, I'm loving them so far and will be wearing them a lot through winter.

Hi, I found these boots to be comfortable, but they are large round the ankle, once on they do look like work boots - I am a country girl and it looked like I still had my work boots on and was ready to go down the paddock instead of going out!!!!!!! but if you like that look all good (I LOVE dressy boot and wanted ones to go over my jeans and these are hard to find so I thought these would be fantastic but did not do it they just looked like work boots to me)

Recieved these boots yesterday via mail, was looking forward to getting them however i am Gutted i wanted to love these boots however they are huge around the calf for me and no shape to them what so ever through the leg. They make my legs look even bigger than what they are. Am going to send back

Love these boots. Very comfortable and look great with leggings. The heel was very light in colour so I went over it with boot polish- much better!!

These boots are extremely comfortable- I have been wearing them non stop since I received them a week and a half ago. As other reviews stated they are loose around the ankle and are tight to do up around my 46cm calf- I`m glad my calf isn`t any bigger. I ordered a size 9 and am normally an 8 and 1/2 and they are big without being too big. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and am seriously considering purchasing the other colour!

What a find. These are great. I must admit I have only had them a week, but have practically not had them off. They are functional, look great and are fantastically comfortable. They fit me great and would definitely reccommend.

I love my sara boots I bought a brown pair last year and live in them , I have large calfs and can tuck my jeans in and they look great also they are not too wide to wear with tights the width in the ankle makes it easy to wear thick socks over your stocking keeping your feet warm as toast in winter

I love these boots - I have just received a pair in the brown - already have a black pair which I wear every day and love. They are lasting well. Hope you keep this style going ezibuy!

I never write reviews, but the painful search for boots that fit my calves is over!!! I now have trendy, casual cool boots like everyone walking down the street and they are comfy and fit my calves!!! Bought black and brown...just because I could!

I love these! I bought the black as soon as they came out. I wear them everyday and they still look like new! I know I can get a solid winter out of them and for the price I think that's good value!

Really comfortable and versatile boots - i'm size 10 to 10.5 and the size 10 was comfy. They're very practical and have worn well - very pleased.

These boots are terrific! I take a 12c so struggle to get shoe's in general, but these are so cheap for a larger shoe!!! I was worried they wouldn't be wide enough but the fit perfectly. I'm very happy and hope we will now have a few other shoes appearing in the catalogue(in large sizes) - as we used to a few years back.

Great boots! Have been wearing mine for about 6 weeks now (constantly!) and they are not showing any wear. I wear an inner in my to make them more comfortable.

Just back from the shops where I got to spend some time in them. These boots are great. It is so good to have an on-trend pair of knee high boots that aren't too expensive. Now that I'm a 'Sara' girl, can I have a pair with platform heels?

I am not one to pay retail and usually wait for something to come on sale but so glad I bought these! The best most comfortable boots ever. Bought black and seriously considering going back for the brown also.

These boots are super comfortable. When I knew that they went up to a size 12, I went into Ezibuy straight away. Looking forward to wearing them soon as the weather cools down. A huge thanks to you Sara! x

Love, love, love these boots! If you are like me and you have trouble buying boots to fit your calves, then the sheer delight and relief of finding a pair is indecribable! I'm usually a size 9.5 but the 9 were perfect. Like the other reviewers, said, a tiny bit baggy around the ankle but I think all boots do that and its doesn't ruin the look. I can fit Jeans into these and even a support insert. Utterly delighted!

Love these boots - they feel so comfy, great colour in brown, they sit well and jeans tuck easily into them. Had lots of compliments and queries about where my boots are from.

love these so much, I have had so many compliments the couple of times I've worn them so far. I have wide calves and these are a perfect fit round the top for me and the perfect height as well. My only quibble is they are a bit baggy around the ankle but not as bad as some boots I've tried and overall very happy. Another note, while these are fairly comfortable there is no support whatsoever in the sole so I will probably buy some inserts for these to make them a bit more comfy.

Love this boots, I have large legs and I can tuck my jeans into this boots and still have a centimetre or so space. Very comfatable.

Got these in black & am loving them.

I loved these boots - they were a fab fit and so comfortable, but I wore my soles out in a few months. I guess for 99 dollars you don`t expect more than a season, but it is worth keeping in mind. This said, I am very sad mine are no longer wearable!

These are brilliant boots. All ezibuy boots I've purchased need insoles fitted for comfort. These fit me perfectly in the foot and calf, but as always the ankles are very baggy and not fitted. I wear these everyday, I love em

I received my boots today,love the look of them, they are the correct size in the foot, but not correct in the calf size. i have a 43cm calf at the widest point, and they are very tight, almost to the point of not being able to do the zip all the way up, it was a struggle. i wanted to be able to wear leggings under them however i wont be able to.

I agree with the first reviewer on all points.I think the slight bagginess at the ankle is actually a plus as it gives the boots a nice casual look which fits with the flat heel.I also agree that a padded insert is needed and lack of sufficient underfoot padding would be my only quibble

furthermore: Whilst they feel and look great, after taking them off after 5 minutes wear, my calf where the seam is a few cms below the top, is aching. I am not sure if this small sizing is consistant over all of these boots, or if I order a replacement to the ones I have they may be larger. So BEWARE! FYI bare legged, my calves measure 44cm.

I have just received these boots (July 2011) and they must have changed how they make them, as they are NOT as wide in the calf as indicated. At 46-49cm (I used a tape measure) I would have had ample room to wear these over my jeans, however when received I tried them on over a pair of jeggings and was JUST able to zip them up.

Can anyone tell me if the boots gave a little or stretched a little and became looser as they wore them?? I know they shouldn't being only synthetic but I am clutching at straws. I really want a reason to hold onto them!

I was so excited about purchasing these boots as I had purchased a Sara pair last season and loved them but they are too high for my work as a teacher and a little wide! :( Anyway I have rather large calves (around 47cm) and these boots would not zip up on one leg and were very tight on the other. Needless to say I am not very happy. I am going to look into costs of getting the elastic made bigger, but really Why have the calf sizes changed from last years boots to this years?

Loved these boots but they just weren't to be! Size 11 is usually a good fit for me but I had to go down a size and even then they were too big around the calf.

Boots look good for price, but not a good fit for me. They looked more like gumboots. The ankle is very large and bulky and just ruins the whole look. The fit in the shoe part is good and seems comfortable, but unfortunately the leg is an unflattering fit for anyone who doesn't have large legs!

Got these boots in black this morning. Very disappointed they are very big around the ankle with no shape! On me they look like gumboots! Had to send them back. Must say though EziBuy has very good customer service!

Unfortunately I will be returning these boots. I love the style, but they just didn't fit to specifications in advertisement. They are also very tight across the foot part. Shame they weren't leather otherwise they might have stretched over time!

A bit disappointed, was hoping these would fit my large calves. Last year my Sara riding boots (same size) fit easily over jeans, but these replacements don't have elastic and the boots don't zip up even with bare legs. That being said, they're very nice looking boots, I just wish they had a little patch of elastic or something to give a better fit. Not what I'd expect from a 'plus size' brand!

Beware the vinyl on these boots.I had mine for a few weeks and the black coating on the toe started to bubble and peel away.Had to return and ezibuy were great about this as usual..5 stars for customer service but only 2 for the boots I'm afraid.

My sister bought a pair at beginning of the season and they fitted her & me perfectly, but when I ordered a pair mid season & had to wait for a new supply these were definitely a lot smaller in calves. When I measured the calves on the boots they were not the same measurements as advertised. I returned them and tried again but had same problem. The most recent batch of boots are definitely a different size in calves to ones sold earlier in the season.

Although these say calf width circumference of approx 46-49cms, they wouldn't go anywhere near my 47cm calves. What a shame.
