I am very surprised at the negative reviews for these sheets. I have 3 sets, the elastic is brilliant, far better than on the more expensive sheets I bought at The Linen Co. They certainly have not pilled and have been washed multiple times. I only wash them with special eco laundry powder that doesn't have surfactants. Also, sheets should only be washed on their own, or with the duvet cover. Never with towels. Look after them and they will look after you.

Initially bought white and while it felt luxurious it was not particularly thick- Im not sure what to expect from Egyptian cotton but I presumed the higher the thread count, the thicker the sheet. Anyway, a pesky coffee stain on my mattress showed through these- I swapped for charcoal and they feel the same but are not translucent. Happy with purchase, fingers crossed they wear well.

It is difficult to find good quality sheets for a King Single. These sheets are really nice. Couple of downsides: The 'soft blue' colour is more of a greenish colour. The pillowcase has stitches missing and although the depth of the sheet is generous, the size on top is a little small for my mattress. Overall pretty happy, seeing as there is not alot of choice out there.

Beware of the sizing - single and double beds are 15cm shorter than the others, yet the sheets and duvet covers for sale are only 5 to 10 cm longer for the longer linen than the shorter.
