Fabulous dress. Yes it is firm under the bust, but the beauty of that is there's no necessity for a bra.

Lovely dress, would suit any height practically, but I return mine because coud not breath in it - narrow waist line for me(i'm 66cm in waist, bought size 8). no sense to buy bigger size because upper part and skirt are roomy in size 8 already. but the style looks very feminine. beautiful naked back in this dress. i agree that you can dress it up as well - versatile style. Cotton and colour is lovely.

I got this in white and am thrilled to bits. Fits beautifully and flatters the figure - very Marilyn Monroe. Perfect summer dress or dress up with some jewellery for a more formal look. Stunning!

Why are these still available? The colours are great, they are so pretty and make you look skinny. The fabric wears very well. I have this style in 4 colours. I bought the first one 2 years ago. Never faded. Great 50s look if you add a petticoat. If you cant affort the grace hill 50s style dress in the new spring cataloge this is a good alternative.

Nice dress, but be aware you won't be able to wear a bra with it - it's quite low in the back. I think this is why people find the waist narrow - the band under the bust designed to sit fairly low. The skirt is also quite full - will be altering mine to take some of the bulk out, but that's just personal preference!

I bough this in (slimming) black and (cheery sunshine) yellow, in two different sizes for my GF (because I wanted to make sure she would have atleast one that fits), both fit quite well and she is pretty happy with my efforts. :)

Lovely dress but if you have boobs and need to wear a bra don't bother with this one! also very narrow at the waist. Was disappointed that I had to send mine back
